The project is about the realization of an office building located on the banks of the Saone in Lyon. The building is divided into two superimposed parallelepipeds, which are not quite perpendicular. A central patio passes through this volume creating a working open space.

The basic concept of the architectural idea is the transparency. The working space is completely opened and the only dividing walls between the office platforms are the ‘glass cubes’, a form indicating the meeting rooms.

The acoustic treatment in this project is described by the suspension of “OVNIs” just above the working space. These objects, designed especially for this project, combine the functions of acoustic treatment and lighting.

The façade creates an ambiguous interplay between opacity, representation and transparency. In addition, it consists of a double skin to achieve thermal efficiency.

The external wall offers acoustic protection and it is possible to open the interior windows without reducing their performance.
