Tver’s Drama and Academic Theater houses the local theater company and regularly hosts traveling companies from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The main 800-seat theatre is designed to accommodate a broad range of performance types such as ballet, opera, and musical productions.
A second more intimate theatre of 180 seats is devoted to one-acts and other smaller scale performances.
