This project involves the construction of a cultural complex comprising a large exhibition hall, a conference room and a 3000-seat theater and concert hall in the city of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
The acoustic mission for the theater, the concert hall and for the conference room include proposals for internal acoustic design (typology of materials, locations and dimensions) and the main design principles to be retained to obtain a high-performance acoustic insulation, in the form of isolated walls, main partitions, uncoupled elements, doors, etc … To help us accomplish this task, 3D computer models of the rooms were made.
Finally, we worked on the design of an acoustic shell to optimize the listening quality among musicians and to improve the coupling with the room. This modular shell, can be adapted to several orchestra configurations according to the repertoire.
