This new building is inscribed in the urban network of the twentieth arrondissement of Paris. It is about a multidimensional project involving the construction of a nursery school with 66 places and an accommodation office at the upper level.

This type of establishment related to childhood presents some specific acoustic constrains. The proposed solutions require the reconciliation of isolation and acoustic comfort with a warranty of child protection (anti finger trapping system for the doors).

Another important issue of this project is the distribution of the ‘sensible’ premises such as the sleeping rooms and on the other hand the noisy premises such as the mechanical rooms. This subject requires an attentive study in order to achieve the desired acoustic comfort.
